Small Group Parenting Series

WHILE THIS GROUP IS CLOSED, AN ONLINE GROUP WILL BE OPENING IN SPRING 2018. FILL OUT THE INTRODUCTORY FORM TO SEE IF SMALL GROUP COACHING IS A FIT FOR YOU AND YOUR FAMILY.

A parenting series for community, connection & reflection

Nowadays it feels difficult to make time for ourselves let alone time to discuss the needs of our families. So let's get together over the course of six weeks and do this by:

  • Connecting with families in our community who share similar values, joys and struggles.

  • Engaging in real conversation, being supported and offering support to families who are in the same boat.

  • Learning Montessori style tools and techniques that you can take away and apply to your unique family situation.

We will cover themes like:

Positive communication with kids, healthy limits & boundaries that leave you both feeling good and purposeful activities & spaces for young children. The focus of this series is for parents with 16-month-olds to 4-year-olds.

Imagine accountability group meets parent circle meets Montessori workshop!

My husband and I recently attended Sandra’s parenting series. If you’re a parent, you know how much energy it takes to raise your children...it’s non-stop. What I appreciated most about the series was it gave me space and time to reflect on how we are parenting our son. Sometimes we know what to do but we forget in the busyness of life and need a reminder. Sandra offered a space to learn and reflect. Going each week held me accountable to the things I wanted to change and implement. It was so wonderful to have Sandra’s perspective and guidance. I really feel like I have tools to draw from in this new toddler stage. I highly recommend this series, I’d love to take it again!
— KIERSTEN MARKHAM, MOM TO 2-YEAR-OLD BRIXTON

What is included:

  • Four 1.5 hour small group sessions (Wednesdays 1/24, 2/7, 2/21 and 3/7 from 6:30-8:00 pm)

  • Three 1 hour group video calls via Zoom to see how it's going (Wednesdays 1/31, 2/14 and 2/28 from 6:00-7:00 pm)

  • Handouts (with tools & activities), so you can keep the conversation going at home.

  • Your very own Daily Routine Chart to take home and use with your little one. (Typically it is its own workshop, but I'm bringing it into the series!)

If you are struggling with transitions, this (the DIY Daily Routine Chart for Kids workshop) has been immensely helpful for us—and could be a great thing for your family! Andy has a visual representation of the timeline and it helps me to stay accountable with communicating our plans. Sandra is an incredible resource and she’s got a ton of insight.
— KIMBERLY BERRY, MOM TO 19-MONTH-OLD ANDERSON
