The Healing Collective: A Practice in Trust

We often believe the story that more is better, pushing & striving is the way and that healing has a destination. These stories are not true for so many of us and actually hold us back from doing the work and in our own healing journeys. Healing is a process and often is about unlearning these stories and ways of being that cause harm, create fear & anxiety and ultimately keep us small.

Welcome to the Healing Collective, a 3-month online container to help you practice feeling your feelings, trusting yourself and letting go in gentle and deep ways. It’s time to call back our power. It’s time to take up space. It’s time to let go of what holds us back so that we can shine brightly.

What you can expect :

  • A monthly email with insights, journal prompts and guided meditations. You get to download and keep any recordings.

  • A monthly live breathwork session that is recorded for those who can’t attend live. I’ll also be sure to hang out for a bit afterword for an office hours type situation be it to be further witnessed, ask a question or share a celebration.

The Healing Collective is a:

  • Gentle and easy space to practice trusting yourself, your body and your knowing in deeper ways.

  • Self paced environment where you move through the meditations, journal prompts and breathwork sessions and recordings in ways that feel best to you. You are going to practice really gently listening to what you need and desire. 

  • Way to connect with and merge joy & laughter with doing the work. It’s a both/and type space. There is a misconception that healing has to be really hard and laborious. And yes, at times it does feel that way. It can also feel easy, sweet, fun and pretty darn magical. 

  • Safe place for conscious souls who are ready to do the work or have been doing the work for some time and would like some sweet support. This is also an inclusive and diverse place where it is safe to be who you are as you are. 

  • Loving container that we create by coming together with these shared intentions, agreements and visions. 

The Healing Collective is NOT a:

  • Place to push and strive for healing as if it is some magical finish line. 

  • Place for outward accountability. I am not here to hold you accountable nor do I want to. We are not here to look at healing through a capitalist lens. 

  • Limited space where you feel you can only show certain aspects of yourself. There is no room in healing to only be part of who we are. 

This may be helpful for you if you:

  • Crave a gentle and loving practice over the course of 3 months that supports you in trusting yourself and the Universe in deeper ways. 

  • Have feelings of anxiety, worry, frustration or downright fear at times and are ready to work with those emotions, where they live in the body and the beliefs & patterns connected to them. A space to support healing in the physical, emotional, mental & spiritual bodies!

  • Know that your healing journey can feel more supportive, loving and easy, but aren’t quite sure how to get there. 

  • Desire a safe space and container where you are held by the collective energy of the group as well as give to the collective energy of the group.

  • Want to work with the breath in moving through emotional blockages, moving your energy and opening up your emotional, physical, spiritual and mental bodies. 

  • Enjoy guided meditations and journal prompts for self-reflection and want to do this work in ways that honor your needs and desires. 

  • Are ready to do the personal work in the collective container knowing that others in this community have also made the conscious choice to do this work alongside you.

Dates to note:

  • To join the Healing Collective, be sure to sign up by July 6

  • Live Breathwork on Saturday, July 24 from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm EST

  • Live Breathwork on Saturday, August 21 from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm EST

  • Live Breathwork on Saturday, September 11 from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm EST

  • You’ll receive 3 Healing Collective emails in between breathwork sessions to continue doing the work in gentle ways.

There may be another live session added and/or emails. I leave space for what wants to unfold to do so. This is what you can expect in general allowing some flexibility for additions.  I am also opening my calendar to 1-1 sessions to those in the Healing Collective and at discounted rate. You will have the option to book an Intuitive Healing session at checkout. You can learn more about 1-1 sessions here.

A recording of the live breathwork sessions will be sent to all registrants afterwards for those who can’t make it live. The session times are at 11:00 am EST (Detroit, MI). Use this link to convert to your time zone.

No previous breathwork experience or equipment necessary. You will need a private & safe space to breathe as well as an internet connection to log onto Zoom. Instructions for how to join the sessions will be shared with you in the confirmation and reminder emails.

What is Breathwork?

Breathwork is an active mediation technique that encourages us to release stress, tap into our feelings & move them through the body and unblock stuck energy. Breathwork leaves us feeling more relaxed, lighter and clearer. It’s a fantastic practice for those looking to relax a little more, trust themselves in deeper ways and practice greater self love.

“The virtual breathwork session I participated in took me by surprise - I didn't realize how much I needed it and how transformative it would be. Sandra was able to create a relaxing environment where she walked us through the process and made me feel at ease. Throughout the breathing, thoughts, memories, and intense emotions bubbled up and my body tensed. I cried and I felt energy moving all through my body, and was surprised how powerful the experience was. It was so intense that I had to slowly come out of it when Sandra called on us to come back to normal breathing, letting my body relax after tensing up, and just continuing to let go. I found myself speaking out loud, saying things to myself that I was realizing and needed to hear, or maybe somehow felt the need to declare to the universe. A note on breathwork:  A home breathwork practice is not currently recommended for people in the first term of pregnancy (unless you have discussed it with a medical doctor), epilepsy, retinal detachment, glaucoma, high blood pressure not controlled by medication, cardiovascular disease, family history of aneurysm, strokes and neurological conditions, and severe osteoporosis. A breathwork practice can cause strong physical sensations and/or emotional releases. In rare cases, strong emotional releases have been known to cause amnesia.
