Podcast Interview: Connecting to the Divine and Healing Trauma
It was truly special to have this conversation with Dr. Stanton Hom of the Future Generations Chiropractic Center. I know Stan personally and have had many conversations with him over the years about our innate ability to heal, Montessori, the nervous system, various healing modalities and so much more. This podcast conversation really feels like an extension of the incredibly special conversations we’ve had.
I speak honestly and openly about my health journey, moving through trauma and how I was guided to healing work. We discuss topics ranging from self love, to child development, to spirituality, to breathwork and energy medicine. It is infused with heaps of love as I felt that energy moving through me during the whole interview.
My intention is that this conversation supports you wherever you may be right now in this moment. And that you feel wrapped in the energy of love and possibility.
Keep in the SUNSHINE,

I share my experiences with thetahealing as a practitioner and also as someone who receives thetahealing too. My hope is that is provides some insight into the foundation of energy work and the possibilities it entails. And makes something that feels so abstract a bit more tangible.

As someone who has been practicing this type of breathwork (an emotional release technique) for the past 4 years, I can only really speak to my personal experiences with the breath. But while everyone has such a unique experience, the one thing I do feel quite certain of is that breathwork brings with it the medicine that we actually need in that specific moment.
It’s been almost 2.5 years since I’ve showed up here. That’s partially because I am not sure I knew how to write from the depths of my being and then share that writing. But mainly, it’s because I have spent the last 2.5 years having my world flipped upside down.
When Amanda Joyce Weber invited me onto her podcast to share one simple shift that has truly supported me in my business and the clients I work with, I couldn’t help but share about the huge shift that has supported me in life (because honestly, it’s all the same).
What do you do when those big emotions show up? You know the ones that I’m talking about? The ones that we tend to avoid, shove down or maybe feel too intensely?
I'm dropping in today to share a bit of what has been going on for me behind-the-scenes. And I'm pretty excited about it!
Fear based living is the worst. And it’s pretty much the norm. We are taught to worry about everything, especially as women. We have a whole culture putting their fears on us and before we know it everyone else’s fears somehow become our own.
Monti Kids has done a wonderful job of taking the birth to 3 years Montessori training program and packaging it into online videos & tutorials alongside their materials which are practically replicas from the training. They have done so for both parents & educators alike which is awesome because we all have different reasons for needing a program like this.
I have spent a fair amount of time hiding behind my various masks and not showing up in my life and in Montessori. It seems to be a trend in the world of education where the bar can be set really high. While I can’t speak for others, I know some of my reasons for not showing up were related to fear.
I recently had the opportunity to be on an Alumni panel for my former Montessori training center. As graduates we were asked to speak about our varied experiences with the Montessori training and life after the training… In effect, why Montessori? The one takeaway that I returned to for prospective students time and time again was that Montessori is an amazing educational philosophy and practice, but most importantly is a way of life.
